A Community-Based Organization
Sagal Radio Services has stayed true to its community roots throughout its history. More than simply creating passive listeners, Sagal Radio places a great emphasis on recruiting volunteers and fostering community activism. Sagal Radio regularly has members of the community help create programming and participate in broadcasts. Sagal Radio is also in close communication with refugee resettlement and public service agencies in the area to discuss ways our program can continue to meet the changing needs of our listeners. We believe that in order to best serve the community, we must be intimately connected to it. |
