This3 month program is design to help you upgrade your professional image and self-marketing skills in order to present yourself in a positive, authentic light as the right candidate for the job. Through a Combination of small group classes, one-to-one coaching, and mentorship, we help you develop your presentation skills both on paper and in person. If you’ve ever sent out loads of resumes and applications and not heard anything back, or finally gotten called for an interview only to be passed over For another candidate, this is the program for you.

New American Pathways, a refugee resettlement agency in Atlanta, has many services for those of therefugee and immigrant communities, including resettlement, social adjustment, immigration, afterschool, family empowerment, and employment. Justine Okello and Kelsey Smith of the ForwardProgram came to Sagal Radio to talk about New AP’s college and career counseling programs, availableto anyone of refugee or immigrant status.The Forward Program is designed to help you take the steps needed to advance in your career andachieve your goals. Perhaps you’ve been working in entry level jobs in warehouses, factories, or retailand you’re ready to advance into a more professional setting. Perhaps you held a college degree andhigher level employment in your country and you want to get back into that field. We can help!Forward offers one-to-one career counseling in which we talk with you about your career goals, helpyou develop a plan, and connect you with resources for executing that plan and reaching those goals.We also have a new professional development course called the Forward Cohort Certificate Course. This3 month program is design to help you upgrade your professional image and self-marketing skills inorder to present yourself in a positive, authentic light as the right candidate for the job.
