Sagal Radio had the pleasure of welcoming Emmanuel Solomon and Roberta Malavenda to the studio to discuss Mr. Solomon's most recent accomplishments and personal experiences that help guide his work as a math teacher and Sudanese community advocate.  Emmanuel, a refugee born in the South Sudan in a Dinka village, was recently named Teacher of the Year by the Dekalb County International Student Center, and he is currently Chairman of the Math Department and President of the United Sudan South Sudanese Communities Association (USSSCA).  Roberta is executive director of CDF Action, a non-profit organization that engages communities and residents in decision making. Join us for this engaging show and learn how adaptation and accomplishment can result in triumph.
