Round Table Discussion on Human Trafficking

With the support of the International Human Trafficking Institute, a project of the Center for Civil and Human Rights, Sagal Radio Services welcomed representatives from three different sectors that work to fight Human Trafficking.  Daniel Werner, Senior Supervising Attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center, M-H, Programs Director of the non-profit Tapestry, and Alia El-Sawi with the US Customs and Immigration Services engaged in a discussion regarding this global issue.  Topics covered in the conversation were how each of their organizations combats human trafficking, information on victims and perpetrators, community impact, international scope and ways citizens can help fight back.
