On May 31, 2009, WRFG hosted volunteers from Sagal Radio in the first of its two-part Broadcast Class. The purpose of this class was to ‘train the trainers', that is, to train those volunteers at Sagal Radio who will go on to train other volunteers. Sagal Radio volunteers learned about the legal aspects of broadcasting, what can and what cannot be broadcast, managing volunteers, and fundraising.

WRFG's volunteer and operations manuals will be used as models for Sagal Radio as they produce their own materials for the new studio, which was completed June 2009.
