Resettlement Services
(listed in no specific order)

Resettlement agencies provide placement services and assistance to refugees upon arrival. They cover the necessary expenses and living costs for your first 30 days in the U.S. Afterwards, agencies provide assistance in obtaining a Social Security card, finding a job, acquiring long-term housing and furnishings, enrolling children in school, as well as a general education of American customs and laws. Each refugee is assigned a resettlement agency prior to arrival in the country.
